Indoor Meeting – Track & field, Karlsruhe

Three best global records for the year, three national records and a meeting record were experienced by the spectators at the Karlsruhe INDOOR MEETING track & field events. To the Bender team, this meant meticulous project planning and optimal on-site coordination in order to built the seven grandstands on time in the exhibition hall. Nine lorries were needed in order to bring approximately 4,700 grandstand seats to the site. All structures were more than one metre higher in order to provide optimal views. The grandstands were erected in an arena form around the competition field. This provided a unique and breath-taking ambience for both spectators and athletes.
