Battle of Waterloo

The battle was commemorated with a major event at the original location in Waterloo from June 18 to 20, 2015. Over 20,000 presenters and extras recreated the events of 200 years ago. Over 100,000 spectators observed the presentation from four Bender GmbH grandstands, each over 10 metres high. Pictures show the enormous dimensions of this event. A gradient of 4 metres was levelled within one grandstand. This mega-event presented all those participating with challenges in planning, organisation and assembly. Our project team was able to assure a smooth project due to our many years of experience and detailed planning.
