World RX Riga, Latvia

The World Rally Cross Championship took place in Latvia for the fourth time, taking place on the 1.3 km-long Bikernieki race course. Our team was there again this year. Over 7,000 mobile spectator seats which were distributed across three grandstands were transported from the company's headquarters in Bad Schoenborn, a distance of 1,850 km. Platforms for wheelchair users and mechanics were installed in addition to the grandstands. Of course, customer requests were fulfilled, and the grandstands were covered for the most part, and equipped with flagpoles. In addition, a VIP stage was erected with additional seating comfort. The high wind speeds which dominate there were also included in static calculations. The roughly 7,000 seats were completely erected within five days using a local crew. Bender Tribünen  showed that they considered visual accents as well functional aspects.
